Your experiences
What has your health journey been like? What role do care, prevention or complementary approaches play in it?
The Mouvement citoyen within MSIQ
Bringing forward the experiences of individuals, their loved ones and communities to help make integrative health more accessible.
Public engagement
The Mouvement citoyen grew out of MSIQ’s work. As early as 2017, discussions among its members highlighted the importance of public representation in advancing integrative health.
This engagement is based on a conviction: people navigating their own health journeys bring experience that is essential to collective reflection. Their needs, preferences and the barriers they face must be heard.
The Forum citoyen offers a practical opportunity for dialogue among members of the public, caregivers, community groups, professionals, practitioners and others concerned.
What we hope to hear
Experiences vary. They help us understand people’s needs and the conditions that shape access.
What has your health journey been like? What role do care, prevention or complementary approaches play in it?
Do cost, information, services available in your region or dialogue with professionals affect your options?
What would support informed choices, better collaboration and continuity of care?
A diversity of voices
Members of the public, caregivers and communities are at the heart of this initiative.
People who use complementary approaches, those who want to understand them better and those with questions about access are invited to join the discussion.
The initiative also recognizes First Nations and Inuit perspectives, with respect for their rights, knowledge, protocols and governance.
Do you represent an organization or want to learn more about public participation?
